An Example of a Day as an Interior Designer
- 6:15am: An interior designer wakes up and have coffee, bathe, do some home chores and get ready for the day.
- 8:00am: Publish weekly articles or surf the Internet for new update on INTERIOR DESIGN.
- 8:30am: Administration work; arrives at the office to check mails, tidying the office to get started for the day.
- 9:30: Alterations on meetings, listen to presentations of the team reps, hear the team’s visions and ideas.
- 11:30am: Site visit and meeting with painters, constructors to discuss possible developments. To check the site to see How far the projects is going. Also do a zoom meeting with clients to seek approvals on basics decisions.
- 12:30pm: Working Lunch at a Coffee shop or Restaurant. All work and no play make Jack a dull boy of course. This relaxation period gives the DESIGNER time to reply emails while having lunch.
- 1:30pm: Contractor calls; checking with a few contractors to discuss the project and design to make sure they are being carried out correctly.
- 2:30pm: Final paint Approval; the DESIGNER takes this time to make final approvals on the colours for implementation.
- 3:30pm: Site visit at a different site with clients and contractors. This phase is a very important moment in a project cause at this stage the projects either goes to the final point or pivot.
- 4:30pm: Transportation Policy; transportation of equipment’s for the projects are been carried out.
- 5:30pm: Home time; at this time the DESIGNER close for the day and retires home for the day. At home she reviews the work done for the day, plan out more DESIGNS and also reply to mails and texts.
